iHeartCountry Festival

A special event I got to join was 2024's iHeartCountry Festival. This year’s lineup featured incredible talent like Jelly Roll, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, and Lady A, all performing to a packed house of country music fans at the Moody Center. As part of the Experience team, my role focused on making the festival unforgettable for our national contest winners, who had the chance to meet these artists in an exclusive, up-close-and-personal format.

The day of the festival started with our team welcoming these lucky fans as they arrived on-site. From there, we coordinated every detail of their experience, ensuring that they felt like VIPs from start to finish. Each winner received backstage passes, and we guided them through the logistics of getting to the meet-and-greet areas, which we’d meticulously set up to provide an intimate and exciting environment for these special encounters. Our team worked closely to manage the flow, keeping everything on schedule so that each fan had the opportunity to connect with their favorite artist, snap a photo, and share a few words.

Beyond handling the guest logistics, we were also responsible for setting up and breaking down the meet-and-greet rooms. From arranging lighting and backdrops to making sure everything was just right, we aimed to create an atmosphere worthy of both the artists and the fans. After the last meet-and-greet wrapped up, our team stayed to carefully dismantle the setup and ensure that the Moody Center was returned to its original state.

Being part of iHeartCountry Festival’s Experience team is about more than just logistics—it’s about creating lifelong memories for country music fans. Seeing the joy and excitement on the faces of those meeting their heroes, even for a brief moment, is incredibly rewarding. For these fans, it’s a dream come true, and for our team, it’s an honor to make those dreams a reality.
